Market at Hague (formerly Binford Farmers Market)
The Market at Hague provides a connection to over 100 vendors with deep roots in Indiana, including farms, nurseries, bakeries, wineries, meat and fish vendors, cheese makers, specialty food products and artisan crafts.
For all of you new to the Market at Hague, Binford Redevelopment and Growth, Inc., or BRAG, is the neighborhood organization that runs the market. BRAG came about because a group of neighbors living near 71st and Binford were dismayed at the suburban blight in the neighborhood. 10 years later the intersection is a thriving commercial area offering restaurants, shops and other services to area residents. In addition to The Market at Hague, BRAG initiatives include an active crime watch organization, support of neighborhood schools, beautification projects, an area business directory and young professional networking. BRAG is instrumental in promoting trails and sidewalks. Look for a trial along Hague Road that will allow neighbors to walk or ride their bikes to The Market at Hague and the library and schools next year. For more information visit the BRAG website, binford71.org.
A big Thank You! to the BRAG Business Alliance members who donated to the barn build; Holeman, TGM Shadeland Station Apartment, TGN Avalon Lakes Apartments, Scott Dentistry.
